ACG School Jakarta has failed to provide any convincing explanation for arbitrary hikes in school fees. In the last two years alone, fees have increased approximately 6 percent and 10 percent respectively, well above the annual increase in inflation, particularly given the strength of the US dollar.

These unacceptable increases, which are costing parents thousands of dollars, are particularly disturbing given the failure of the school’s Board of Directors to engage with parents and offer assurances that continued unreasonable fee increases will not continue.

We, the undersigned ask that all future increases will be made with prior consultation with parents to allow them to provide input on this matter. We also demand that ACG Jakarta will limit fee increases to percentage increases being seen by other international schools.
