It has been stated by BMWOracle Racing that if they win AC33 against Alinghi they plan to defend the America's Cup in Valencia, Spain. As a USA based sailing team, the thought of a US team defending the America's Cup anywhere except for the USA is unacceptible. Hopefully if enough true fans of the America's Cup sign this petition BMWOracle Racing will realize the only place an American team should defend the America's Cup is in America.
