Last year, housing became unbearable as we waited for USAG Yongsan to turn off heat and turn on AC. We ask that AC be turned on no later than April 15, 2016.
For many of us, opening windows isn't possible due to pollution nor is it right to ask residents to buy portable AC units out of pocket simply to keep their family in comfortable living conditions. The breezometer app suggests being indoors with the AC on to ease those sensitive to the yellow dust and pollution.
We ask, as a united population, for the AC to be turned on more promptly than it has been in the past.

This is ridiculous. Just to save a few bucks? These men and women and their families are putting everything on the line for their country and should be shown respect and appreciation.
It is unbearably hot inside our apartment in Blackhawk Village. My infant daughter got a heat rash. I have allergies and can't keep windows open due to the pollution and bad air quality. Please turn on the AC because this becoming a health issue.
Exactly! My kids and I are all EFMP for allergies and other things... this has been ridiculous... I have already spent a ton on purifiers and fans just to try to breathe in the house... we need filtration right about now.
Itaewon Acres--Opening doors & windows in the warmer weather to get a breeze is not an option for my family, which includes 3 children ages 5 and under, due to their severe allergies & respiratory problems. So instead we are left to live very uncomfortably on warm days.
My son is a toddler and highly sensitive to the yellow dust/pollution and I am pregnant and AC is a necessity at this point. 5505-G Blackhawk Residents
