The schools do put up those cheap fans that don't reach the end of the room even when on high power, bringing ice to cool yourself off melts in 10 minutes and when teachers tell you to bring you own fan, don't: the next day they'll be shouting at you saying to put that "toy" away.
The office gets A/C, so why don't the classes?

The scale of this response confirms the need for a formal proposal regarding climate control. I am currently compiling the data for a presentation to the school board members.

the office staff gets to be nice and cool while the kids are sweating through their shirts. total double standard.
Seriously fix this! Fans do basically nothing except push warm air around.

My son comes home red in the face every single day. The classrooms are basically ovens by 1pm. It is physically impossible to focus when you are that hot.
