Abuse registry laws are unfair to families across our nation. When a call is made to the Child Abuse Hotline your name stays there and is not removed, even if the allegations were proven unfounded or negative. However, what you do not know is that you cannot get a job in certain fields due to this. We need to reform this law to protect families, with a term limits and a removal process of expungement when calls are unfounded or fraudulent.
