It's truly a sad day in our precious community when our dear community members can be so misguided that they come out and openly support a heretic. It is my prayer that Hashem will enlighten these lost individuals and they return to the beautiful and true ways of Torah and Missvot.
Our community is blessed with so much Torah and advancement in connecting with our traditions that it's no wonder the Yesser Harah comes out. We have seen it before, with Faoor and others that come with twisted and warped misinterpretations of our holy Torah and our committed community Rabbis dutifully come out in unison to uproot the evil. We have a commandment "Ubeearta Harah Mikirbecha" and individuals such as Joseph Dweck enable us to fulfill this Torah obligation.

It is with tremendous fear for our future children that I sign this petition. The lecture he gave is an embarresment to the Sephardic Community and to the entire Jewish religion. Whatever he preached is clearly against what we, as the Children of HaShem, believe and it is heartbreaking to see other members of our community supporting him. Yes, he is still a Jewish member and others may say he has different opinions, but the topic in its entirety goes beyond just another opinion and is a disgrace to our religion.

It's a real problem, some of the people I know who follow him either back him up on this or won't comment, but thank god most of them are seeing the way he warped their way of thinking over the months/years and are trying to convince their friends to stop listening to him and are trying to show others where he goes wrong.

I definitely don't agree with his latest controversial lecture ! However there are many other lecturers i did enjoy in the past . He is a rabbi and has my respect as one , however I most definitely do not agree with his position on the matter .

Thanks to all the rabbis speaking out against the things this man has said, more and more people who used to listen to everything he said and speak his praises are seeing the truth about this Apikores. Hopefully we as a community continue to combat this wave of apikorsut sweeping us and destroy the toxic ideology of those who would seek that the Torah be changed to their liking.
