I'm main stream SY who knows one thing this topic is and always will be a big no! Society can make it right but that doesn't change with us.

Not sure what everyone is sticking up for pro l6!!!! Since when do we go for that ?????
You guys making a split in black and white but the truth is we all agree this is wrong. If the pro side would think for a second what they are pro they would agree this is a no no. If I'm wrong then when their sons bring home a boyfriend there will be nothing to talk about as the son can say dad or mom I follow by the example you set.
Since when do we not listen to our Rabbis. I don't even keep Shabbat but one thing I know is the Rabbis here and in Israel all said this was off and they are the experts. They don't waste time tweeting all day or watching nonsense like us they live this. This is their life.since when do we argue on rabbis.
So far not one Rabbi said this class was ok.
Imagine his own uncles the chief Rabbi of Israel ( our country ) and Chief Rabbi of Har nof said this is way off base
I ask you now what's the question and what exactly are we fighting about.

Just a reminder to my fellow community members. This Charlatan with his magician hat was never a part of our sacred community. He was born and raised in California. He is not a true SY as part of our holy community. He came to our community as a learned educator but in the end the truth always prevails and, when he felt comfortable in his position, his true colors finally shined through.
Send him back to California. Let him start over and hopefully this time he won't get lost along the way.

I'm greatly disappointed and hurt to see the atrocities that have befallen Hathaway Synagogue from the degradation of our highly respected Rabbi Farhi to the anti religious vitriol that is just bellow the surface. As a longtime member and neighbor of the shul I have pulled away all my financial support for the shul and for the SCA. I encourage all with a sense of moral duty to do the same. Let Joe C and co know that he's in this one alone.

After seeing and hearing what the great Rabbis of NY, London and Israel have had to say on the subject I stand against Mr. Dwek. I am not one to make the decision all I can do is follow in the ways that our Rabbis tell us.

The point of this petition shouldn't be to throw hate at him like Mr. Gindi said in the introduction... this is not the way we should be speaking about people who follow him.. but I definitely am glad to sign this petition bec his ideology is wrong and bh hashem will show him and his kahal the right way of looking at the Torah
