Freedom of faith and religions is personal. India is not a religious state to impose one single religious beliefs on Indians. The Constitution of India is clear that India is a secular nation with liberty of religion and faith and worship. So, a democratic nation's democratically elected government has no right to bring in laws that take away the freedom and liberty of Indians to choose their faith and religion according to their consciousness and rational mind. Indian independence movement was not based on religion or to make India a free religious state. Independence movement was about free India as a country where everyone has equal rights and opportunities.
So the idea of Anti Conversion laws is a huge conspiracy against Indians who live in a democratic secular nation. Religion and Faith is personal and it's not governments jobs to interfere or to stop personal beliefs through some law litigations.
The day when India loses it's secular and liberal rights, it be be like Arab nations where it's citizens are under state religion and any disagreement or liberty to worship God based on their personal faith leads to persecution and even death.
