If the lords can do this, why not let the monarchy have the final say,and uneducated little people like me can do is masters bidding.

I am of the opinion that the House of Lords holds Parliament to account. Disagreement between the two can be a healthy requirement for Parliament decisions to be revisited, But I do believe that Brexit is being subverted by the Lords on this occasion. The People and Parliament gave the Government its unabridged solid support to leave the EU. Tinkering by the Lords could forestall or even negate it. I believe the Lords are wrong on this occasion and should rethink their vote.

Some members of the House of Lords are unable to accept the referendum decision to leave the EU and are now trying to undermine that result. They are pursuing a private agenda against the wishes of the public and have shown the House of Lords to be not fit for purpose.

Entirely undemocratic and unhelpful position taken today and last week. Sending back two amendments that were overwhelmingly voted out in the previous elected MPs vote on the Article 50 Bill. Ridiculous 'in-denial' behaviour. And, where were these people when EU treaty after treaty was signed through without a bat of a Lords eyelid?
