This petition will be sent to Governor Mike Pence with the mandate to push Senate Bill 136 through to the House floor for voting. This bill, if approved by the State House and Senate would repeal Indiana's death penalty statue and reduce the punishments of those awaiting execution to life imprisonment without parole.
