Sponorship is not ordained or regulated by the AA program. The word "sponsor" is not even mentioned in the first 164 pages of the "basic text" of the Big Book. Even more than the word God, the word FRIEND is mentioned in the Big Book basic text 74 times. The Big Book says we are all FRIENDS sharing our experience strength and hope and there are clear responsibilities outlined on page 97 for being a FRIEND in AA. As a matter of fact, the word "sponsor" does not come up in the Big Book until page 220, and that sponsor never got sober, dying as a drunk. These human sponsors are ruining the lives of the AA new comers by making up rules as they go along. They place themselves on a higher plain and become grandiose, the more sponsor babies they get the more outlandish they become. The human sponsors are mis-guiding, mis-leading and false teaching us and preventing us from experiencing sobriety by telling us that we need them in order to achieve sobriety. BOTTOM FEEDERS, feeding off our fear of relapse. They prevent us from reading the Big Book on our own telling us it is a "text book" and that we cannot read it by ourselves, on our own. The human sponsor don't even know that the word "text" means "information" According to the human sponsor, one can read and comprehend/understand a chemistry text book, the stock exchange, a comic book, a physics book, a cook book, a book on computer programming, the scriptures and much more, but, no one can read comprehend/understand the Big Book without the mis-guidance mis-leadership and false teaching of human sponsor. The human sponsors hid the TRUTH from us so they can fulfill their need to help themselves to running the lives of others, minding our business of being sober and not their own so they eventually get loaded. The human sponsors are actually nosey, overbearing and dishonest willing to let the new comer die for their simple pleasures. The human sponsors know if we read the Big Book on our own we will find we really never needed them. That they need us new comers in order to be who they are, as this is even written in the AA General Service Conference-Approved Literature titled: QUESTIONS & ANSWERS ON SPONSORSHIP. The human sponsors don't want us to know that it is The Program Of Alcoholic Anonymous as outlined in the first 164 pages of the Big Book, the personal stories, the appendix and every word printed in that Big Book only, that we need. The human sponsor tells us new comers that the first page of the Big Book is has nothing written on it because that is what we know about being sober, nothing. But, the God of my understanding says I know that AA is where I need to be to become sober. The human sponsor will not discuss the book beyond the first 164 pages because if we read further we will find that they are liars and they will no longer have a HIGHER POWER. Sponsorship is their HIGHER POWER. We are forced to attend their Big Book meetings where they read us notes to write in the book but we are forbidden from reading the book and making our own notes. Yet, on the last page, in the last paragraph of the DOCTORS OPINION, there is is strongly suggested/recommended that every alcoholic read the Big Book, all the way through, for themselves. The human sponsors tell new comers that they will relapse over and over again, when the Big Book says in the Forward To The Second Edition that: 50% never go out again and 25% might relapse one more time. The human sponsors tell us to lend them money, buy their groceries, run their errands and be their personal nurses. The human sponsors tell us to do as they do and ignore and reject our children, parent and friends as they are not a part of our recovery process, but are a part of our past. They tell us we must let go of the past for our children will find their own way. But, the Big Book tells us to bring them along into our recovery. Then the human sponsors badger us into telling them about our past secrets promising to understand and to be a closed mouth friend, when later we find out they told everything. The human sponsor teach us to curse the God of our understanding encouraging us to call Him all kinds of lies and motherfuckers telling us we are not good enough and that God does not need us making us practice putting ourselves down as the human sponsors tell us this will keep us from having an ego. The human sponsors will not let us share our experience strength and hope from the podium if we have drug experiences. The human sponsors reject us if we relapse and will not let us talk about our relapse, but the Big Book says on pages 91, 95, 216, 218 and so on, "let the relapser talk. The human sponsors become jealous if we do better than them in our lives. This has nothing to do with recovery but it effects them. The human sponsors tell us that we are their sponsor babies as long as we stay sober but don't call them if we relapse. And when we do relapse, we are ordered by the human sponsors, we must break our own anonymity and come back to a their group meetings introducing ourself as yet another new comer. And if this process is embarrassing or belittling to us the human sponsors say we, yet again, have an ego. The human sponsors look and watch us after they provoke us, becoming our greatest enemy. They watch us as we finally become resentful that we even need sobriety if we can't be ourselves, jealous because we can't get the program like them and their other sponsor babies, envious of the other drunks that don't have to put up with the sponsor bullshit, finally becoming so dangerously frustrated with the whole human sponsor process, we lose all fear of further suffering and dying that we tuck our pride between our legs as our courage to live is completely dissolved by the evil human sponsors' tactics. The human sponsor teach us to hate ourselves so we just quit life and think we might as well just go ahead and relapse. By that time, after dealing with the human sponsor we need a drink, hit or fix. We HAVE TO take a drink. Determining we would do better drunk and/or high. We would rather take our chances with liquor stores and drug dealers, police and institutions than to put up with another human sponsor and all their hang ups and bullshit. So we go back to what we knew best. Where we fit in as an ALCOHOLIC ADDICT, most with MENTAL DISABILITIES. We go back to living on the streets, drinking til we pass out, eating out of the garbage cans, pushing baskets, smoking dope and shooting up. Then they, the human sponsors travel through the neighborhoods and skid rows of their towns, very proudly stick their chest out while pointing at us laughing and saying "But for the grace of God there go I". Immediately, they get another set of new comers and re-start the process of controlling and destroying their lives. WHAT A VICIOUS AND INHUMANE CYCLE! The human sponsors expect us new comers to follow the God of their understanding. As they keep telling us when we ask questions about the process that we have an E.G.O. That we are Edging God Out. If they were to allow us to have a God "of our own understanding", how would they know if we were edging our own God out. They will not let us be who we are, ALCOHOLIC ADDICTS, most with MENTAL DISABILITIES, and force us to fit their mode of reasoning, making it clear with their attitudes towards the alcoholic addict, and please don't mention that you have a mental disability, that we are not welcomed to AA. They even go so far as to cut us alcoholic addicts off while we are speaking from the podium, telling the alcoholic audience that we are wrong to share on our drug experiences, while using sweet but stern words they escort us back to our seats reprimanding us the whole way for being an addict, daring us to mention our drug experience ever again. So we alcoholic addicts continue to die as the human sponsors freely and without any holds-bar, no second thought, throw us back into the streets. Even Bill W. recognized the need for the alcoholic addict to be a full participant in the AA Group. Read, PROBLEMS OTHER ALCOHOL an AA General Service Conference-Approved literature. The human sponsor should not exist and must be stopped immediately. Abolish the human sponsor. Abolish SPONSOR-SHIT!!
