Small contractors are being targeted across the country now by rogue federal agents from OSHA. I like many others was targeted for working out of state and fined $500,000 for working on a one story non steep rancher. We had no injuries, no employees complaining about safety. All employees at the time wrote and gave statements saying they were given equipment and were safe at work. This out of control agency is destroying peoples businesses, lives, and the lives of employees as well. I have been in business for 18 yrs had many happy employees and now am on the brink of having to shut down due to this harassment. I know many lives have been affected by osha agents fabricating cases against contractors and this agency should not be allowed to target and destroy companies because they can. Please sign this petition to hold these agents accountable and reform/abolish the power and involvement of this federal agency.

I have been reading the notes many of you are sending about your own experiences and it turns out my situation is not unique at all. It is truly humbling to see so many people coming forward to share stories I never imagined were happening on such a scale. This is all happening because you decided to speak up.

I am truly overwhelmed by the momentum behind this because it was never my intention to lead a charge like this. This response proves how many of you have faced this same unfair treatment and I am just humbled to be a part of this movement with you.

My cousin got hit with some crazy fees last year for stuff that didnt even make sense. Its just a shakedown for money now. Absolute joke.
OSHA has no standing take OSHA to the Supreme Court another rouge alphabet agency.
Half a million sounds like a pretty hefty fine for a small business maybe if they were notorious criminals but for a guy who employs a dozen people and does great work I would say it’s about $499000 to much

Siempre estan buscando como sacarnos dinero a los que trabajamos duro. Ya basta con tantas regulaciones absurdas.
