1 cycle lane worked perfectly well. Having a contra cycle lane reduces traffic flow and more importantly has the potential to limit emergency services vehicles access as bollards don’t allow traffic move safely out of the way.

The traffic is chaotic at peak times, surely there has to be a better way to accommodate everyone.
I have nothing against cycle lanes and this cycling should be actively encouraged but this is creating a great divide between road users.

Remove the cycle lane and come up with something better - that works for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists
