I travel from clare to limerick for work and this has caused a hugh delay in traffic every morning. While is accommodates cyclist and offers them safety which i think is really important as i am a cyclist myself, this bridge is not suitable

Road is now extremely dangerous for all road users. Have seen three crashes and couldn't get out of the way for an ambulance and bicycle users still refuse to use the bike lanes.

I travel that bridge 5 days a week . Never see cyclist on it early morning. Also its a hazard as it slows emergency vehicle on one of their main routes. God help anyone going into the river

One of the most ridiculous decisions made by the council. They've taken away half the road for a meer handful of cyclists. Of course they never looked at the practicalities of it or the disruption and delays it would cause.

It needs to go, can we not look to put some sort of walkway beside the or attached to the side of the bridge, cost effective and safe...

Ridiculous to add that cycle on what was already a busy route to the city. What’s worse is I have hardly observed any cyclists using it. No evidence of the council engaging any level of intelligence in converting it to a cycle lane!

I live in another part of Limerick and intend moving to Ennis Road.
This lane is going to cause serious congestion and will ultimately endanger Cyclists as the road is too narrow for this.

Probably one of the worst decisions ever made. Disrupt 1000s of people daily to keep 100 regular cyclists happy.

The cycle lanes are a disaster. Whoever designed it needs to be sacked. It doesn't help cyclists or motorists. It only makes the area more dangerous.

Build a bridge for pedestrians and cyclists and leave the bridge alone traffic was moving well before the council built this. Traffic is horrific in the morning
