Freedom of expression is very important to children, and to the American public in general. Being able to separate yourself from the rest of the kids at school can be very important because you want to feel unique and express your own individuality. On top of that, let's face it,Standardize Dress is expensive, so it doesn't seem fair that a public school, which must cater to many different economic levels, would be able to insist that every child attending it have to wear them.
