I pledge to honor Unite Here! boycotts and to take steps immediately to encourage Association of American Law Schools (AALS) to move the 2011 Annual Meeting out of the boycott situation. I will not dine, meet, or sleep at a boycotted hotel. I strongly urge AALS to incorporate protective language into their hotel-booking contracts so AALS is not caught in another hotel labor dispute in the future. I refuse to fund hotel management's efforts to strip away workers' affordable family healthcare, decent pensions, job security and sustainable livelihoods.
