Aaliyah was truly an amazing woman. She had amazing talent with a beautiful spirit. I may not have known her personally but I felt like I knew her through her music. She had so much to give to the world and it's unfortunate that her life was taken so soon. God called home his beautiful child. I think that if she was here, she would embrace her story being told. She wouldn't want her family to stop production on something that would open everyone's eye to her rise to fame. Don't get me wrong, it's unfair that the network didn't get consent from her family first but now that they know, they should open their hearts to forgive and try to help the network tell her story the way it should be told after all. How long should we wait for this amazing story to be heard, it's been long overdue.
