Its been so long i can't even remember the date it occurred. It was around September/November 2006. I was driving home from work and was sitting at a traffic light at Rt.50 and Chapel Road. The light turned green and whenr I looked up I thought the person in front of me had started moving, when I accelerated he was still sitting and I rearended him. The car he was driving was literally held together with duct tape, it was a very old station wagon which he lived out of. When the Easton Police arrived the man got out and was crying whiplash. The police officers stated to me that this was not the first time they had run-ins with with person. He insisted on going to the hospital. Teh police took my information and Iwas free to leave without being written a ticket or charged with anything (not to mention i had a new 2006 mustang which sustained a substantial amount of damage to front-end). I never was contacted or heard anything of the accident until exactly 30 days before the 3 year limit was up. Eerie insurance had filed a judgement against me for almost 1$17,000 in medical bills, ect. The attorney for Eerie settled with me for $50 a month. Around September of this year, 2010, I fell behind 2 months and the attorney filed with MVA and had my licensed suspended. Since I had no way to work and it was causing scheduling problems with my employer, I was let go. The attorney informed me for $300 he would file a petition to have my license re-instated. Since I'm not working due to no transportation, it was impossible. I need my license back so I can start working again and get back to paying my dues.
