Terrible junction
People on the inside lane will not let drivers in outside lane merge into one lane . Need one lane at lights for left turn only outside lane for ongoing traffic.

Why why why should we need multiple accidents and an fatality to force to have these road markings and junction changed to ensure better improved safety of our road users.

I drive this road every day to work and every day another driver will try to pull away faster to be the leader

This junction has always caused confusion. Why have two lanes going forward with only one lane to enter onto?
Naturally, the left lane should be straight on/ turn left, and the right lane is turn right only. And likewise for the reverse.
The only 'use' I've got from the current layout is to over take a tractor!

I don't understand how it will make the traffic slower when there is only one lane to start with. If that lane is uninterrupted and the other is designated for left turns, it shouldn't cause an issue. As much as I agree that people should learn to use that area of road properly, sadly they just don't.

I live by the garden centre and have always known this was a stupid and dangerous junction. The left only lanes is the only sensible option.

If you were to extend the merge in life would be alot easier this road isnt scary or dangerous. The traffic is slow on this road If you make it a left turn only its just going to make it back up. If you cant make the overtake there is a middle pedal for a reason there are people out there who need to learn how to drive to the road and situation.
