This road is dangerous. I have had cars nearly go into the back of me when turning right at the traffic lights because they want to overtake. I have been indicating well in advance.

This road desperately needs to be changed to prevent any more unnecessary deaths. The road needs to be a single lane going straight ahead and one lane to turn left.

This should be converted to a roundabout. The roundabout should be called Donut. Donut was the nickname of my cousin who was killed there two days ago. A roundabout would control traffic speed and direction and stop this happening again.

It seems that merge lanes get used as an excuse for a race as to see who can get first place! Unfortunately there are too many incidents as a result. Clear markings for lanes are much better. You only need one straight ahead lane if it merges into one.

Wiltshire has too many junctions with merge points. People are just too impatient these days so will push/barge/race to get ahead. Remove this option and the cause of accidents/anger will be reduced.
