Sony finally confirmed the update adding A2DP support and I am honestly shocked that we pulled this off. I can finally play my games in peace without keeping the whole house awake at night. Thank you for sticking with me while we pushed for this fix.

Seeing 250 people sign this shows I am not the only one tired of wearing wired headphones just to keep the house quiet at night. It feels incredible that so many of you want the same simple fix for our consoles. Let us keep pushing until Sony finally listens.

It really would be great if they made it possible to send game and music stereo through A2DP BT on the PS3. I'm all for it, but I'm sure Sony cares not. It's been how many years since gamers have tried to get Sony to listen up about this? It will most likely be that many more (times triple).
I just want to use my bluetooth headset while playing at night. My partner hates the tv volume so this would be a life saver.
Why do they block this feature? just let us use our wireless gear. stupid move by sony honestly.

Ridiculous that this console is limited like this in 2014. My cheap phone can do it but the ps3 cant? fix it sony.

Please!!!! I want to buy sony mdr10rBT headphones but without being able to watch movies on my ps3 with them it's pointless. :'(
