Stop the Arundel Bypass - Save Arundel's Countryside

I completely reject the grey route as an option for the Arundel by-pass. It will ruin water meadows, destroy wildlife habitats including the already threatened Barn owl. A lesser damaging route should be chosen.

Saving nature and the fragmented wilder parts of the countryside is more important to me than saving a few minutes of journey time. Please do not build the by pass as the current plan.

Apart from the obvious destruction of our local countryside and the its indigenous animal and bird population it will obliterate Avisford golf course and will only increase the bottleneck at Worthing

This is a destructive plan! Please consider the Arundel alternative!

UTTER MADNESS! With everything going on in Europe at the moment we should not be wasting money and effort on this ridiculous project!

Words fail me at the lack of care about the environmental impact this will have on the area.

Improve the roads we have! Not bigger toads that take away woods and hedges and feilds that that combat climate change and full of wild life.

The grey route is a disaster and totally unnecessary when there is an alternative. This government must be stopped on what seems to be a mission of destroying what is left of our countryside.

This route will ruin Binsted and Walberton at the very least and should not be approved.

At a time when the world is facing a biodiversity crisis trying to push through the most environmentally damaging option is shameful.

It gets me so angry and upset, that men in suits make decisions that effect all of us.

Try to be more creative. Ditch the car

I worked for a couple of years on a nursery in Binstead. It is beautiful- Walberton too. I think it would be heartbreaking to spoil these areas with a short-term bypass redirecting plan. Please think again and consider a less invasive damaging route.
