Please consider all options, if there is one that is less damaging to the countryside and villages it must be looked at.

Leave this sleepy village in peace, make a bypass it is needed but not through Binstead

Tranquillity is underrated. Let's preserve the last few tranquil areas we have in our area.

An alternative must be found to avoid ruining Binsted

Why drive a coach and horses (and lots of other rather more damaging traffic) through the peaceful wildlife and quiet little villages of the South Downs National Park? It makes no sense at all. It would be an act of desecration and the height of folly.

HE should be looking at options which are largely on line although these are more difficult to build there is less wider collateral damage.

Countryside once tarmaced is lost for ever. we can't afford to lose any more in favour of cars. Where will we grow our food and find peaceful recreation?

The route with the minimum long-term damage to the environment of the South Downs is the only sensible option.

I fully support the stated reason for the petition but would add that the road-building options so detrimental to Binsted would similarly damage the neighbouring parish of Tortington. One other option, pink-blue, with only a slight impact on Binsted, would destroy Tortington's environment in the same way. Online road improvement is the only option which can save these two communities.

I reject any route for the Arundel bypass through Binsted and I recommend that other options should be brought to public consultation.

Please protect Binsted and surrounding countryside for future generations. I appreciate that we experience hold ups and delays but should this road be built via this route, we destroy yet another rural part of life for the sake of commerce..Stop!

Don't wipe out our heritage, wildlife and the poor people who's life's who once again are not taken into account.

The proposed Arundel bypass threatens to destroy yet another vital natural lung and wildlife habitat.. This vulnerable greenbelt must be protected for the restorative health of future generations.
