I grew up in Walberton (and regularly walked over to Binsted. It's a beautiful area, and its madness that such an area would be considered for a major roadbuilding project.

Beautiful Countryside and it's totally unfair to destroy a beautiful village and all who have their businesses there and homes. Shame on you all.

As a child I lived in this area and I am appalled at the thought that yet another piece of history/countryside is being put "on the block" so to speak. Binsted is a lovely village, a community, a tranquil but thriving spot of loveliness. I know that the by pass has to go somewhere and upset someone but for heavens sake let's be sensible and also have a heart.

Binstead is a beautiful village surrounded by ancient woodland and therefore MUST be protected from any development.

To route a road here would be sacrilege. Surely a road through the national park in this area would be against all planning rules.

Ancient villages such as Binsted and the surrounding woodland need protection, there are more suitable alternatives that will not destroy such a beautiful area of West Sussex.
