The local authorities have officially approved the safety improvements for the A1307. This outcome honorably addresses the concerns raised by our community. We will continue to monitor the progress of these road modifications to ensure they are implemented as planned.
This is a petition that people are to sign because they believe that the A1307 road fom Linton to Horseheath needs to have action taken in order to stop fatalities happening along it. Most of the deaths and injuries along this road are caused by human error, either by speeding, lack of concentration, weather conditions etc. But a good percentage of the people involved in these accidents, weren't doing anything wrong. They were involved because of someone else. Recently a schoolboy, Joshua Bysouth and his Grandad were killed along this road leaving a grieving family and lots of questions. What can be done to prevent other families losing a loved one along this road? Speed trap? Single lane? Please sign this so we can pass this on to make something happen. Thanks for your time.
I have been reviewing the detailed feedback regarding the A1307 and appreciate the personal experiences you continue to share. These accounts reinforce the urgent necessity for structural safety improvements on this stretch of road. I am currently preparing a formal proposal to submit to the local transport authorities based on these findings.

Fix this road. Too many lives lost. Its not just 'human error' its the road layout itself.

RIP to the boy and his grandad. Heartbreaking. The A1307 has been a death trap for years. Why are they waiting for more people to die to fix it?

My kids travel this road to school and I worry sick every single day. The speed people do is just mental. Put in average speed cameras already.

Absolute nightmare of a road. Just ban overtaking on the dangerous stretches and get some cameras up. Simple.

Too many bad accidents here now. Drive it everyday and it scares me how people drive. Something has to change before another family gets that phone call.
