Our hair color is our choice, what gives the school the legal right to control this? It is legal for a school to enforce a dress code upon students, but our hair is not an article of clothing. It's a part of us. Schools are becoming more and more like a prison slowly taking away our constitutional rights. As of April 1st we have 442 signatures from people signing in person. We've been working for a week so far. This is a great start, but obviously not enough to change the mind of our super intendant. So now we're turning to the internet for help. It'll only take a second to sign and every signature helps once we reach our goal we will go to the super intendant and see if he'll reconsider this rule and if he argues we'll ask for a vote on this.
