Mediocrity cannot be allowed to thrive in Nigeria. The minister is on course to sanitize the health sector. Patients are coming to the hospitals and they are receiving treatment. Some hospitals have started performing surgeries for their patients. Maitama District Hospital and Wuse General Hospital in Abuja are examples.

Indeed, IFA has taken the rot in health care delivery and health-related policy decision-making to a much higher realm since his appointment by the current administration. This seasoned obstetrician/gynaecologist and administrator with an impeccable track-record of achievements as a Medical School Provost and a university administrator, remains a big ‘plus’ in the present federal executive council. The majority of unbiased opinions of (trained) professionals in the health sector are solidly behind you in your current head-long battle to clean the Augean’s stable and rot in the health sector! Indeed, our entire Ibadan (MB;BS) graduating class of ‘78 is extremely proud of your accomplishments at the apical position of the extremely volatile health sector!!! ‘Folle’ please remain assured of the solid confidence of the entire Nigerian citizenry in your performance as our health minister!
