A Vision for Justice is a nonprofit organization that is seeking justice for the many innocent men and women who have fallen victim to the unlawful conduct of the Chicago Police Department. Several police Departments, including 111th and Ellis Area Two station, have been exposed for subjecting suspects and witnesses to Physical torture, and psychological abuse, coercing them to make false statements on themselves and others to close cases. As a result of such misconduct many innocent men and women have been sentenced to death, life imprisonment, or long prison terms for crimes they did not commit. Our preliminary goal is to put an end to this miscarriage of justice by seeking evidentiary hearings, new trials, and freedom for these innocent men and women. We must be mindful to the fact that anyone can become a victim to this miscarriage of justice. We cannot stand around and wait until it’s your loved one who becomes a victim. Now is the time to stand up for justice. By signing this petition you will help right the wrongs of a broken judicial system bring justice to the men and women who have been wrongfully convicted. Please join our campaign for justice.

The stories coming into my inbox are heavy and remind me exactly why we started this. It is exhausting work to face this system day after day but I am not walking away from these cases yet.

Reaching this point in our campaign feels overwhelming given the weight of what we are fighting against. I am exhausted by the depth of this corruption but seeing this level of public attention confirms that we are finally being heard.
