I began listening to Jack as a kid with my father in the 50’s until he retired and I was a grandfather. We were both MSU grads and fans and Jack was our link to the team we loved.

While I did not attend State myself, I had three siblings who graduated from there. My mother wouldn't listen to any sport that Jack didn't call because she said he was so fair minded. A great man and I am sure he sits on a maroon and white throne on high!

We shouldn't even have to sign a petition. Jack and MSU will always be synonymous! Let's do this!!

If anyone deserves it, it's Jack. Jackie should have one, also. He's the one who got us going on the road to winning.

My Grandfather, Buck Palmer, drove Jack to the first game he announced at MSU.

#HailState The first memory I have a Mississippi State football game was one eggbowl during the early 90s. I was traveling back from seeing my family with my Grandaddy, He was always an avid MS State fan. I was maybe 6-7 years old, but Jack did such a great job calling this I knew exactly, well semi exactly, what was going on from that forward maroon was in my blood and the rest is history. Let's get this on campus bulldogs! #WrapItInMaroonAndWhite

Great idea! Sure miss listening to his broadcast of MSU games, however, his voice is still heard in my head after every Bulldog win. "Wrap it in Maroon and White!'
