Our differences were not meant to cause frustration and fear, or anger and hatred. But rather to show us the beauty of diversity! We are not the color of our skin, or the food we eat, or the clothing we wear, or the language we speak, or the country we live in. Yes we are diverse but we are still one humankind, one shared humanity! Like a puzzle, each piece is different, but together creates something wonderful to behold. Together we are humanity, together we are strong, we are whole! Music, like humankind, is diverse, and beautiful to each of us in its own way. Musicians’ voices are like loudspeakers for talking to the world. Those voices can be as gentle as an angel’s heartbeat and as empowering as the beat of its wings! Once a year the United Nations celebrates a day to honor the hope for global peace. I would like to begin a movement to honor that day of peace and also recognize the power of music. This a calling! musicians of earth! Come together, help us to feel, to remember our humanity; to be kind to one another, to show compassion for each other, to find once more the peaceful truth of love! A medley is what we need composed of songs from across the earth. Played in each time zone at just the right moment from radio stations all over the world, traveling from east to west with the rising sun, it would cover the world like a peaceful wave of unity! Let this be the generation and now be the time, when the people of earth who believe in the peace that is love, rise!
I have been spending my evenings reading through the stories you are sharing and it is clear that music truly holds a language we all understand. This momentum belongs entirely to you because I initially imagined this as a quiet hope rather than a global movement.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people believe in this vision for a world connected by song. This momentum belongs entirely to you because you were the ones who saw the value in this idea. It feels surreal to watch this grow into something so much larger than myself.

We, the Pakistani people, are facing a lot of problems particularly religious and political intolerance in our society. The solution is in education and the world community is not helping us to develop an infrastructure for the better opportunities of education to all the Pakistanis in our own country.we want peace and harmony with all the mankind so pl. help us to make the globe a peaceful place for each and everyone without any discrimination.
