A Shot in the Dark is a one act play written by Nicole Johnson. The play targets important issues such as bullying, abuse, teachers neglecting to take charge, and what happens when you push someone to hard, not knowing what goes on behind closed doors. Though the play may target such issues, it does not show every one of them. It follows Lydia as she enters a new school, meeting Isaac - a boy who deals with much more than he can handle. The play was written as an act to raise awareness, and work as a form of prevention.
