Every generation has their defining movie: Wizard of Oz,Gone with the Wind, Godfather, Star Wars.... "The Room"

"The Room" is the magnum opus of independent film director Tommy Wiseau, and has been heralded as the "worst movie ever made." It has also attained a cult status, and never fails to draw a crowd whenever a midnight showing is held in your town.

While the original performances are hilarious, they are awful. Not that this ruins the movie, but it does make one wonder how different the movie would be if the cast had talent...I believe that this nation--nay-- the WORLD would benefit from a shot for shot remake, with the cast consisting of our most talented actors. Do not change one word of the original screenplay. Do not cut one scene. Do not edit one line of dialogue. Even the wardrobe should stay the same. The performances of the actors will carry the movie. Imagine Edward Norton yelling, "You are tearing me apart, Lisa!!" Or James Franco crying "Stop ganging up on me!"

This could be the best worst movie ever made!
