I've been so attached with Shangyin ever since it was released and what makes it so much relatable is the story flows and plot. The presentation of romance, friendship, brotherhood, family and lifestyle is so much closer to my heart because not everything in life are so much cliche like we've seen in most drama or movies, yet there are ups and down of reality which some of the time it may go against what we planned. Shangyib also gives a different perspective on how love and relationship can be two same thing but not as similar as it sounds. How Guhai, the boy who lack of paternity and family love as he grow up in a strict, discipled way can give so much unconditional care and attention to someone he love, Bai Luo Yin. How much trust Bai Han Qi is towards his son even Bai Luo Yin knew that he's not the perfect son he can be. It also portray on how simple life can be even you're living in such neighbourhood outskirt from the hectic city which is not as luxurious as it be. Not to forget, how exciting to be back as a youth (school, annoying teachers, bullies, bestfriends, homework and chores, many more) So far, Shangyin warms my heart so much. Especially every time reading through the novel, every chapters of it. I would wish to see progression on where the web series had just started and where it supposedly to end... it devastates me knowing that this good production and idea which received so much warm acceptance has been shut down without knowing the actual valid reasons why and any further explaination. If there's a possibility for the season 2 to continue, i hope it opens the eyes, perception and the heart of the world on the message that Shangyin is about to share.

Please season 2 actually I'm reading the novel and this is a masterpiece. The plot, the style is so good. Chai Jidan, through your writing, you pass so many feelings, this story is really touching. Support from Tahiti. (sorry for my english, this is not my first lgge at all ^^' only french)

This series has its own message for us about family, neighborhood, school, relationship, and friends. The plot is very good. I watched the season 1 and finished it in one day because of its story line is so good, not just because of the gay couple. I enjoyed the story and I wish there will be season 2 soon.

This is a pretty good serie and is a shame that China censured it. I'd like so bad this series come back in the 2nd season because I know that would be a success. Please, consider it.
