Dress code should not be a thing. It’s freedom of expression. Let these kids live their lives

Ms. Bryant. The petition doesn’t even state that you removed the memorial, but thank you for bringing that up. All of the these children are heartbroken including mine and they don’t know how to deal with the death of a close friend and/or classmate. You are in no way helping the situation AT ALL. You are cold and heartless. I’ve dealt with you in the past and you do and say just enough to cover your own tail. You do not have a reputation for being the most honest admin, as you have been caught in several falsified situations. As far as this situation at hand All of the students aren’t lying. Also if it was advised that it be removed why is back today? If the flowers were donated to the family how are they still on school grounds? A few of your comments were recorded yesterday so you definitely were not just talking to one student. Everyone grieves differently and it’s not your place to tell a child a situation is “not that serious”. If this were your child you would hopefully have a different attitude and outlook. My son has cried for 3 days straight at this point and I find your words and actions DEPLORABLE. You are not for the students. You don’t even seem to be kid friendly, so I’m not even sure why you work with children. You really need to consider a new profession. I personally plan to make sure this situation is escalated to the highest person of authority. My child should feel safe at Hooch. You are part of the problem not the solution.

With all due disrespect, Ms. Bryant needs go. She was the only adult at CHS who I ever had an issue with. She's an awful, spiteful, and insensitive woman who has no place working with young and impressionable children who deserve nothing but to feel cared for and safe. She needs to find another profession, preferably one that doesn't involve interacting with people because she not very good at that.

Again, this is Mrs. Bryant and I did not remove the memorial. I didn't not touch the memorial or have any part in its removal. I love all my Hooch kids and appreciate those of you who are making positive remarks. Again, any individual is welcome to come talk to me about how you feel. Please share the correct information about this memorial.

As a Alumni of Chattahoochee HS this has really disappointed me. Chattahoochee is a family...we may fight, not get along, but at the end of the day is something happens to one of us then the whole school is gonna take action if necessary. It’s sad that a young black male took his life and Ms. Bryant said those inconsiderate things in response as us as family grieving for him. Something needs to change.

no one deserves to be told that they are overreacting about their feelings or their grief, and then have to continue through their day pretending like nothing happened when in fact something life changing happened. as an alumni, this is not the hooch i knew and loved. Jeffery and everyone at hooch deserves more than that. praying for y’all
