Absolutely needed for the upcoming development/sprawl. This road is traveled by many hard working tax paying citizens and their safety should be the biggest concern.

We use this road daily and have had vehicle damage due to the current condition. We need a more long term fix.

I drive this road everyday. There are numerous “near misses” for all directions. The temporary fix is an invitation to increased danger.
Please fix it right the first time.

Simple solution for a high-traffic, highly dangerous and life threatening intersection.

Our petition is a reasonable and cost effective request. Why spend funds twice on a project, it makes no sense. More importantly, safety should be the other factor of importance following funding. You can't put a price on potential injuries or fatalities, let's just do it right the first time!

I do all of my shopping and personal business in Folsom and always turn left on Prairie City road. This new road configuration will be extremely dangerous for those of us who are attempting that left hand turn. Do the right thing and reconfigure Scott Road to Prairie City Road junction.

I live in Rancho Murieta and am supporting the construction of a PERMANENT intersection at Scott Road and White Rock Road. If this intersection is not built, the existing intersection will be "right turn only" which will create both a dangerous and inconvenient condition for our community. Several members in my family drive to the Folsom area on a daily basis and need a safe way to get there and the proposed permanent intersection would provide that. Please don’t be short-sighted in your review of the plans as this will save lives.

The development on both sides of 50 will overwhelm the current plan quickly. Don’t do this on the cheap. Make safety a priority and make this a full intersection.

The "temporary" fix for Scott Rd is too dangerous. We have enough accidents already on Scott & White Rock.

I've lived in Rancho Murieta for six years and in that time my commute to Sacramento has increased from 35 minutes to 55 minutes. It is negligent to continually build houses without a traffic safety plan. The Scott Road intersection is paramount to resident safety.

Scott Road is the main road used for going into Folsom and El Dorado Hills/Cameron Park for medical, dental, hospital, church and shopping. It is the key access to Highway 50, going either downtown, Folsom and beyond or Roseville. We need a safe intersection available for this access. The many cars on White Rock already drive fast - with the increase in traffic due to new homes and more lanes requires a safe and controlled access point.
