This morning my friend who lives right off 17th street was almost hit by a car who he described as "flying down Central Street". There were large construction vehicles blocking his view and he had to pull into the intersection blindly.
A stop sign would help slow people down on this busy road to avoid collisions and allow pedestrians safer crossing. I hope you consider this as this area is full of lively persons who are out and about. I would love to see it safer for all!
