As a mom and a Windsor Terrace resident Who is just zoned out of PS 154 into PS 130, I have major concerns about safety and getting my child to and from school. More needs to be done in our neighborhood to keep our children safe as the commute to school and home. This is a first step and I hope you will pass it, but I also hope it is not the last step

I hold my breath every time my children and I cross Ocean Parkway at Caton Avenue. I applaud these safety proposals.

As a resident of and parent in this neighborhood and someone who sees a lot of inconsiderate and thoughtless drivers anything to make the streets safer is a good idea.

I consider myself a reasonable young, fit Brooklynite and even I have scary moments navigating crossings along Caton. The close proximity of certain sections of Caton to Ocean Pkwy/Prospect Expw and Coney Island Av demand special design attention to pedestrian concerns. Traffic calming, and street narrowing are of the utmost importance in this vicinity.

I watched a truck blow a red light to make a left turn in front of another double parked truck at the exact corner where Mohammed was killed. In front of the brand new school. Please help us make Caton Avenue safer.

Pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists will all benefit from this safety plan. I hope my community board passes it.

I think that the the crossing distance at the the upper school PS 130/Is should be shortened by creating pull in parking for teachers in addition to making it one lave in either direction.

We live on Caton Avenue and are desperate to have the traffic situation remedied. It's a noisy, smelly, unsafe route through a beautiful neighborhood filled with children. There must a better way to move truck traffic through the borough.

We need safer, smarter streets. These improvements are critical to establishing a safe environment for all pedestrians, not least for the many students in the area.

These improvements will greatly improve the safety of our children. I agree with Melissa Lohman-Wild that crossing Coney Island Ave at Caton Avenue is very dangerous for pedestrians.

These are much needed improvements. Also please consider that children will be crossing Coney Island Avenue at Caton Avenue and that intersection is treacherous!

It is insanity to allow one more person of any age, to be run down by a speeding vehicle! Especially children on their way to school!
