Without proper socialization and one on one teaching, this year has been extremely troublesome for most students, especially those who are in high school and cannot afford the drop on their gpa that this pandemic has undeniably made on the grades of most students

COVID had taken a toll on my academic experience and my daily lifestyle. I am not fully getting the same benefits and resources as I did prior to COVID. Therefore, pass/fail should be an option for all of the ECU students. One year is not enough to fully adjust myself mentally, academically, and physically.

I hate this schools operating strategy during covid-19. They are crazy if they think I’m going to pay another full semester’s tuition for online classes when a professor cannot even respond to my email.

I just feel that due to circumstances still not being 100% normal, students should be granted the opportunity for pass/fail one last semester

Our professors literally stopped teaching us, we are doing everything by ourselves, without forgetting some of us have severe mental health issues since quarantine started, some lost families members, others are literally working hard because tuitions didn’t decrease and many lost their jobs because of it, it’s not fair to not let us have the pass/ fail at the end of the spring semester

I believe that we should make classes pass/fail due to the tough times we are going through right now.
