Perfect, continued public use of this beautiful corridor. We need to preserve more of NH's natural beauty and this is a perfect way to do that at the same time providing the public with the means to enjoy it.

What an incredible plus it would be for NH Tourism to add access to down town Concord to The Northern Rail Trail, and what loss it would be not to do so.

This connector would provide a wonderful extension, linking trails for multi-use. Thus, offering more opportunities for tourism and recreation.

We must keep the 6 mile rail corridor for walking , biking, and other non-motorized vehicles. New Hampshire must act. Our 3 vehicles have conservation plates.

I am a greater Concord area resident, a medical doctor and an active bicycle riding rail trail user. If we were to lose the opportunity to acquire this 6.36 mile stretch of abandoned railway property, the City of Concord and the State of New Hampshire would have lost a tremendous opportunity to support and enhance both the physical and emotional well-being of those of us who live here as well as those who visit us from afar. I am also confident that the financial benefits to our State and local economy from acquiring this property would be significant as people from our State and from around the country learn of and utilize the trail. In short, I believe that through this acquisition we would have so much to gain and nothing to lose.

Another opportunity to provide a safe recreational walking, bicycling trail. Another opportunity to see the countryside from a totally different perspective. Another opportunity to preserve and improve on a part of our heritage.

Rep. Christy Dolat Bartlett, Merrimack District 19 (Concord). This would be great for Concord and community.

I have hiked the Northern Rail Trail, in stages, with the Mountain Goats, from Hannah Dustin to Grafton. It would be great to start in Concord.

Connecting Concord to Boscawen and points north will enhance recreation and commuting by bicycle along the vistas of the Merrimack River.

It's time the DOT begins to hear and listen to the communities which request their assistance in creating and attracting more and better business opportunities in New Hampshire -- and not just bowing to the actual businesses themselves.
