I commute to and from work on the Derry, Windham, and Salem Rail Trails and have seen the recreational, and commuting, uses of the trails grow significantly since they were constructed to where it is not unusual for me to now pass over 100 people in the 7 miles that I use each way. Rail Trails attract commuters, recreational use, and vacationers.

I was raised in Concord and now live in Montana where we know that trails like this are important to good health, both physical and mental.

My family lives in Concord andwe have a cottage on Webster Lake. Have hiked pats of the Norther Rail Trail and think it would be great to link this section.

Please support the purchase of the rail trail, which would connect pedestrians and bicyclists with Sewells Falls and downtown Concord.

Please purchase this trail, I use rail trails often because I don't want to die and be another statistic by being hit by a car.

We enjoy the Northern rail trail. It would be great to continue it through Concord.

These trails serve many practical purposes in addition to the enjoyment of those who use them: improve air quality, provide safe passage for kids to play and go to school, and keeps kids and fitness buffs out of traffic.
