Not only were these claims unfounded they were also inflammatory. It could have raised tension and directly influenced individuals involved in the scenes at George Square Glasgow. The aim of this petition is not to claim the scenes from Friday are in any way representative of the wider No support, far from it. It was a tiny, tiny minority and the vast majority should not be associated with them by anyone. The point of this is to highlight that claims from senior figures in Better Together in the run up to the campaign such as Alistair Daring, Jim Murphy and Danny Alexander to name a few were dangerous and wrong.
