A Plea for Religious Freedom and Integrity

Although I am still a member of and very involved in my United Methodist Church in Mattoon, I am of the old belief that homosexuality is wrong in the eyes of God and I believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and God's guide to us as to how we should b living our lives while on Earth. That being said, my friends of 50+ years r still in this church and that is why I stay.

Please release the churches so we can do ministry as WE choose..FOR THE BW CONFERENCE!! Stop the greed!

Church leaders should stay with the true teachings, not bend to a few angry protesters.

So thankful that the church I currently attend bought it's way out of the Methodist church years ago. Church leadership has let down local congratulations by fearing man and culture more than they fear God.

Cannot believe what is happening in the denomination where I was baptized almost 80 years ago. We must pray for our church.

Stand strong in the name of Jesus

Little did we know how the conference that we were a member of would turn from the Bible to do their own thing, make new laws change the book of discipline to suit their new agenda. So hard to believe that God fearing people could or would pull such garbage and expect their members to play along. Not in this life will we bend or stoop to their level. God will provide for his people, always has, always will and his wrath will be poured out on the evil ones.

I was baptized a Methodist but will find another church if this continues.

Whom The Son sets free is free indeed!

They have ruined the church. They have passed rules that defy the 10 commandets and basically ruled that nothing is sin. After being a member for50 years I am leaving.
