I feel in my heart, that they won't change back to biblical values, because they are lost and are now part of the world! We don't loose our salvation but you can choose to freely give it away! Thery are choosing to separate from Christ! Question what does a man gain when you gain the world but loose your soul?

We are called to follow the Word not the world! Unfortunately the UMC has gone the way of the world and is more interested in money and numbers than creating disciples. We need to remember what you win then with us what you win then too! Its a sad day when Christ isn't preached.

My great great grandfather donated land and helped to build Michaels Chapel in Morgan County WV. The conference demanded outrageous money for the congregation to buy it. If anything, they owe my family the amount that the land and church would be worth today if they want it. Sign the Andrew Michael family descendants up. It's time a stop is put to it, and the money and churches are returned back to the people!!

Our small Methodist church was built by my great-great-father, relatives and friends in the parcel of land donated by him. The stipulation was that if it ever wasn't used by a church, the land would revert back to the family. Somewhere along the way, that stipulation was out aside by the Conference. United Methodist have gotten so open-minded their brains have fallen out.

The people from 100 years ago in our community tithed and built the facility in which to worship and meet. Therefore it belongs to the community.

Unfortunately,petitions won't stop the devil from overtaking a congregation. Only Jesus can. I'd leave that church and rename it the Reformed United Methodist Church or something like that.
