I was raised in the Methodist church and this is not the same church teaching I have heard since my youth.
Please allow the community to save their churches continue to preach the TRUE WORD of God

I’m 74 yrs old since my birth I’ve always had a church home & family. I no longer feel I belong to the church I joined in 1987. I chose to leave as I can’t believe they are following Gods teachings.

I left the Methodist Church because of this. It is a crime that the Conference is lying to congregations about letting them buy buildings, and then doing nothing.

We were lied to and pastor or DS did not share information with our church. They just ignored it like it would go away. Our church established by my relatives long ago, accepts all people to worship with us and have not had a problem. But the sheep are to be led by the Good Shepherd whose life and faith have been shared through the Holy Scriptures. So we accept all, but believe the leaders should be those who walk with God the Father and Jesus the Son in righteousness.

This issue of leaving without a properties has caused us a lot of damages in Nigeria and even lost of lives which is more than asset and properties in question. Numerous court cases, tensions, attacks and counter attack that is causing the body of Christ more reproach more than the persecution from other faith, in Spirit of love and unity of faith, this petition of consider will save a lot of lives and further damages

The UMC is on a path of destruction and deceit. The West Florida Alabama Conference is surprisingly one of the most punitive conferences in the UMC. I am thankful that a group of members from our church was able to say goodbye to material assets and follow our faith.

The individual congregations have built, paid for and loved these churches for generations. Many of these believers have been left behind by societal and spiritual differences within the UMC. Please, let them go and continue to minister in peace.
