Every person deserves a place to belong — a home filled with love, safety, and dignity.

But right now, adults with diverse abilities in Caledon are being left behind.

After high school, their support systems vanish. Many live at home with aging parents, waiting more than 15 years for supportive housing that doesn’t exist in our town. They want what we all want — independence, friendship, and a life rooted in the community that raised them.

Caledon can do better. We must do better.

We’re calling for the creation of safe, inclusive homes right here in Caledon — places where adults with diverse abilities can live, thrive, and continue to be part of the community they love.
