The Young and the Restless has This show has just gone downhill ever since Jill became Executive producer of The Yound And the Restless! She is firing the show's best actors/actresses only to have her close friends hired and working with herself. As the new Billy Abbott (Burgess Jenkins) is known to be a close friend of hers. And Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) who played Jason Morgan on General Hospital, another soap she was executive producer of. Hires yet another "close friends" of hers. And now for Phyllis, she is hiring someone from Guiding Light, another soap opera she was executive producer of (which is now discontinued), and his hiring her because she would rather have her close friends working with her, and not care about the show's fans. The absolute worst part is for our favorite actors/actresses, is how awful it is to have to worry about being fired everyday and their job is on the line if they make 1 little screw up, or if they will get fired over a made-up allegation like our former Adam (Michael Muhney). And she is now causing a dramatic loss in viewers which she doesn't even seem to care about. All these events are why we need a new executive producer ASAP who actually cares about their fans, and most importantly, their actors/ actresses!

Yes to many of the key actors are gone. I love you and r but she is throwing the show in the trash. Bring back our Billy and Adam. Maybe even Drew.

Been watching for over 30, couldn't miss an episode. Now, I could care less, story lines and getting rid of characters needlessly... loss my attention.... SAD !

What a joke this show has become. Besides losing Adam and Billy the story lines are ridiculous and way too drawn out. Really, how many people can sneak into a diagnostics lab know right where the lab results are stored and have the know how to change paternity tests. NO ONE!!!! And here is what is going to happen to Sharon. Nothing. Nick will throw a fit but get over it really fast because the story is old and no one cares anymore.

Listen to the fans of Michael. The fans have spoken. You shoudn't be allowed to make such a decision UNLESS the fans agree with you. And it's very obvious they don't. And, by the way, Summer's a big girl. She can handle herself.....or at least should be able to!

Too long to finish story lines and actors/actresses just disappear. No ending or follow up just poof they are no longer on the show! I've watched forever and it's so boring now I could miss it for a month and not miss anything. It would still be in the same place where I stopped watching.

The storylines are becoming TOO predictable &, the show seems to be going NOWHERE!! Been watching for over 30 years!!

I would really like to see Michael Muhney come back to the show, he was the best actor on the show. While we're at it, I'm not a fan of the new Billy, and I haven't liked either of the women that play Kelly.

I have watched the Y&R since day one always loved the soap but there are way too many changes, I'm so disappointed, so I have to agree with the other people Jill Farren does need to change jobs & bring back Michael no other can take his place.

The show has been #1 forever and it's substance has been sub par since her take over. We have lost many of our prized and beloved actors, and it's just not the same. Please consider the requests from the most loyal fan base of all daytime!!!
