I have watched this show, this daytime soap legend since it's conception and I now sadly watch it's demise.....Since this woman has taken the reins of this once great iconic soap opera she has systemically, torn down and rebuild this show to her standards, and as we all to well know sadly her standards are of the lowest quality. She has one of the worse reputations as an Executive Producer in the business. She has destroyed other shows, and this is a proven fact!! I blame the powers that be, if that has just used their collective brains (and I use that word brains carefully) they would have know that the show was going through a little dip in the road, people were still watching but were bored with the same story lines, as fans sometimes are, (you can't hit a ball outta the park every time you're up to bat) but they thought that they had to jump the shark, but all they succeeded in doing when they hired the great soap killer was to jump right into the sharks mouth!!! Now we the fan's, the actors, actresses of this once great soap are paying for their flawed decision making. There is an old saying: "Act in haste, repent at leisure"!!

She keeps firing wonderful actors and actresses and the quality of the writing has gone so downhill since she puts in her own writers. So many of the plots are totally ridiculous. This is very on fitting for such a quality show.

I have watched Y&R for the last 30 years, never have the stories been as horrible as they have been lately. Our beloved characters have been turned inside out!! The ONLY reason I am still watching is because I am a loyal soul and will give a lot of chances but I've just about reached my breaking point

My favorite soap has steadily gone downhill since Ms. Phelps took over. The story lines are ridiculous. The story lines are disjointed an very hard to believe.
