Phelps needs to go! Been a Y&R fan for almost 30 years but feel it's totally tanking since she's some in. GH is where it's at now!

If Jill Farren Phelps is the root of this as it seems from a fans perspective firing Michelle Stafford Michael Muhney and Billy Miller then yes it needs to be addressed. We the fans are the ones who watch the shows and so I believe it's of importance that you take this in to consideration

I live in Australia and have just witnessed the episode of YR where Adam supposedly dies in a car accident and Billy survives! I have watched this show since I was little girl with my Mum! I am now 49! If the producers kill off everyone it will no longer be the young and the restless!
THINK ABOUT IT! ARE YOU WILLING TO RISK THE SUCCESSS OF THIS LONG RUNNING SHOW??

You have made big mistakes by letting most of the original cast go. I watched Y&R from the beginning. It is a travesty at what JFP has done. I want her removed as of now. Bring the original cast back. ASAP. If she doesn't; I am permanently done watching Y&R.

I've watched this show now for 15 years, ironically I was pregnant with my son Billy when Jill was pregnant with Billy Abbott. My second son I named Jack. I loved this show, got my Mother into wAtching it and set the record button every day. Well what a bad 8 odd months of ridiculous storylines. My Mother no longer watches it, I press fast forward on the remote and really struggle to watch the show at all. They've lost the plot, it's morbid, depressing and really stupid, why would anyone want to watch it now. Absolute stupidity to kill off a child, who does that, such bad bad writing. That really did it for me, after the death of Katherine you don't do what the writers have done. They killed Delia and have killed the show, outrageous and moronic storylines. The writers are soooo bad with the storylines with Victor and Adam also, no-one behaves like that to their son, you've made Victor look so foolish, when this poor boy just wanted the love of his Father. Plots are thin, stupid, boring, cruel and morbid. This used to be a show that people loved, it's now an embarrassment, if firing this Phelps woman gets the show back on track, it needs to be done because speaking from someone who has turned from a devoted fan to a disgusted one, you will lose all your viewers and have no show at all. Network Executives need to wake up, bring back the glamour, the affairs, money, power and rivalry. The show has turned to CRAP...

Its time Jill Farren Phelps be fired, the show has changed so much and not for the better since Phelps took charge. I have been watching since it first aired in March '73, I endured when Michael Mulvany was fired but having been recently diagnosed with cancer myself I can tell you that if the rumors are accuratel and Michael Baldwin dies of cancer neither myself, my family or friends will ever watch again as I go through this. Do you honestly think this is entertainment? Plus to kill off this wonderful actor is absurd. I have many friends who were long time viewers who no longer watch. You had better wake up or the Y&R will be cancelled like others,

Will not continue to watch this show until they get rid of her and hire someone that knows how to write and not scare all of the cast off to General Hospital !!!!

Every since she was kicked off of GH, she has either fired or caused most of the veteran actors to leave Y&R. All of her story lines are boring and repetitious. She is the one that needs to go. She has ruined a perfectly good once #1 show.

the story lines are boring and go on way too long....the best cast members are leaving and being replaced by others who dont even cone close...i have been watching since 1990 and the past year and a half has been disappointing

we don't have many soap operas left. Y&R needs to quit firing and killing the good actors off. ive watched since 1992. if Michael Baldwin leaves and any other key characters then my journey with this show ends. Kim

It is shameful what this woman has done to my beloved Soap. I have watched Y&R since it began in 1973 when I was only 4 years old. I watched the Brooks and the Fosters, the Abbotts and the Fosters, the Abbotts and the Newmans and my most missed Jean Cooper is probably rolling in her grave with this woman in charge.
