A petition to remove Jill Farren Phelps as Executive Producer of Young and the Restless

I have watched the show for decades but the story lines this year Have been disappointing. Losing so many beloved characters and fantastic actors is unfortunate. Michelle Stafford was incredible as Phyllis and we miss her. Killing Delilah was just cruel, losing a young child is painful and the death came so close to the anniversary of the Sandy Hook killings. Billy is such a great actor and has great chemistry with the rest of the cast in my opinion he can't be replaced. CBS needs to reconsider and get this show back on track!

I have been watching YR for 30 Yrs. and this is terrible what she is doing firing people and other actor's quitting it should not be, i know i will no longer be watching this soap this is the only one i watch, if you let her get by with this she will ruin this soap to just as she has done to other one's

All my favorite characters are leaving or being forced off this show. I am not going to watch until this person or persons who are responsible is gone. For people to just leave this show shows how desperate things have become. And to fire one of your most popular actors is just ignorant.

Are you trying to kill this show? I do believe that is the case. I think, that the new powers-that-be..Jill Phelps and her crew, are trying to show the cast at Y and R who is boss...by letting Phyllis, Billy, and now Adam....go....we can say it's over contract issues...It's over the fact that they want to shove new characters down our throats who are boring us to tears...Well, keep on CBS...You are losing another viewer here...It seems the desire to kill the genre created by Brian @ ABC is now spilling onto CBS. I watched this show from day ONE> I haven't watched in three days...Get rid of Phelps before you there is a soap devoid of any watchers.... And put Adam and Billy back where they belong; on Y and R. Get rid of these recurring visits from Ashley, heck, get rid of Sharon Case at this point; the writers have changed her into a monster...The newbies, let them all go...Billy and Michael are needed here.

I DO NOT like all of these "changes" on Y&R this year and next year!!!!!! Four very talented actors/actress have or will lose their job!!!!!! This is such a shame!!!!!! Please keep "Adam" and "Billy" on the show!!!!!! The current actors portraying them are doing a great job!!!!!! Thanks for listening!!!!!!

I have been a fan of Y&R since the beginning and have only missed a handful of shows over the 40 years, and I have NEVER wrote a show or signed a petition to have a writer or executive producer fired, never, not any show of any kind, but today I did both, and as you can probably guess, I'm not very happy at having to do so. But it had to be done. Long live Y&R, drop out of the picture Jill Farren Phelps. TODAY... Get back to stories and characters that we love.

To many leaving the story lines go on and on .................I dont watch it like i use to ..............this show is going to fade like the rest if people keep leaving and story lines dont keep dragin on and on already stop watching Bold Beautiful its same old crap everyday .....

I have been a faithful fan of the Y&R since 1973.. I am most unhappy about the recent chopping of main characters and recasting their roles.. Boggles one's mind when there is no need Just my opinion

Who is making these choices,,,I understand billy miller opted out but to fire Michael/ Adam come on. If he goes I go no one can do his character like Michael can come on y& r ,,,,CBS, Sony come on

If something don't happen our beloved soap will be gone just like others. I can't imagine life without the YNR.

I need to know that my favorite show for 18 years is going to stop being brutalized behind the scenes...these great actors she fires are worth their weight in Fans. She needs to stop cutting up the show for her own personal ego ! ! Unprofessional arrogance has no place in a Dynasty built by the best writers , actors, and set crews etc., Too much power and no brains on how to use it ! Getting rid of true talent shows she is a cancer to be CUT OUT !

I look forward to this show every day and the characters are like family to me. Please stop firing people. After what I went thru in a layoff at a big radio company (along with 1600 more) this show is one of the only things I have to look forward to. Btw, that company is going broke. Take a hint.
