A petition to remove Jill Farren Phelps as Executive Producer of Young and the Restless

The direction Y&R is taking is sad and depressing and painfully old school story lines which as a soon to he ex audience member is insulting. Losing most of its best actors the weak scripts show through. It really has lost uts edge, humor and decent story lines. This Jill Farren Phelps has done nothing but reduce this show to what seems like a low budget, poorly acted and scripted high school drama class spoof. It has lost all sense of quality in all aspects. I "was" a fan until JFP took over, it seems if you want your Soap to die a slow and painful death ... hire this person.

Michael Muhney and Billy Miller made Adam and Billy come to life they brought out the best in the actors around them. I do not like the changes made on Y&R please get rid of Jill Farren Phelps and bring back Michael Muhney and Billy Miller before this show dies like Guiding Light..

Jill is a cancer! The only way to rid the cancer is to excise it.

Please remove Jill Farren Phelps from Y&R. I want to watch it again,stoped watching about 2 months ago, new different story line, to many new cast members, brink back Michael Muhney, best actor in day time tv.

She is killing YR just as she did AMC, GL, OLTO, GL, and almost destroyed GH. She is a hack and needs to go and bring back MM.

I'm requesting that Jill Farren Phelps be removed as Executive Producer of Young and the Restless. I have not watched the show since Michael Muhney was fired on December 18, 2013. Jill has ruined this show, she is vicious, and mean, she has lied. I also demand that Michael be brought back as Adam Newman.

I bet I haven't missed more than five episodes since I started watching in 1986. The last few months there have been many disappointing changes, especially with the firing of Michael Mulhey. If they don't bring him back… I'm done with Y&R !

The Y&R is rewriting old story lines and replacing the characters we have known to love and are faithful to watch...over the last 8months since the passing of Catherine, this show has become a rewind of the past, we want fresh/believeable story lines casted with our fav actors, BM, MM, MS. just a shame what JFP has done to this show :(

I have watched Young and the Restless for 30+ years. I was a loyal and dedicated fan. For me this past year from numerous re-casting to exiting characters, to michele stafford leaving, the death of jeanne cooper, the presentation of her death as catherine chancellor, delia ~ a little girl being killed off (i couldnt watch for weeks) to the icing on the cake Billy Miller leaving due to his contract and the firing of Michael Muhney. I dont find the show going in a direction that i am happy with or want to spend my time watching. I am disappointed and sad, i would look forward to getting home each day and have much lunch and watch my recording of Y&R... now i have deleted the recording and stopped watching and honestly it was easy necause i feel jill farren phelps has destroyed and took the show in a new direction that ive never seen before. If you hire a new executive producer and bring back the depth and storylines what we as fans are used to i would give the show another try but not until then. I know how she has destroyed shows in the past by rearranging them to her liking but WE are the loyal fans tuning in each day to follow our beloved and sometimes those we love to hate. Please hear the fans before its too late for Y&R

Haven't watched since Jan 30th and won't until a new EP is announced and Jill is out the door.

Getting rid of Billy Miller, Michael Muhney and Michelle Stafford was a bad move. The new Billy has absolutely no chemistry with Victoria, no camparison. Show is going downhill. Jill Farren Phelps is making bad choices!

I was one of the 5 finalist of Y&R's biggest fan 1 min. video contest that was online the week they hired the soap killer... I told my family mark my words this show will be ending with Jill at the helm now within 2 years... So now after 18 months, SHE gets rid of BOTH main actors... = HER FAULT. As this "biggest fan," wont be watching as old Tom tries to pull off "Billy," and flashing new little house front pics of Victor and Nicky's home front to kill 10 seconds every time they are about to have an interaction is NOT very inventive either... The show just died, and the reason "it's rating were so awesome" THE DAY Billy and Adam died, cuz THAT was the finale of a LONG running show. Way to go Sony who owns the show... you really out did yourself with HER contract, unless of course it was just to kill everyone's pension for being actors on the show so you won't have to pay LATER... Whateve I AM DONE.

Get rid of her NOW!!!Y&R needs young and refreshing ideas for storylines not old has beens.New EP and new HW and new writers for the show is very mush need.

Get rid of that old nag,,she is dragging down the show. The last straw was this bullshit that she made up about Michael Muhney.

As the old saying goes, "If it's not broke, don't fix it!" Well CBS and Sony, are you listening? Y&R is "broke." It's a Humpty Dumpty! REPLACE Ms. Phelps, or you might not be able to put Y&R back together again!!!!!
